How CAQA Labs subscriptions and pay-as-you-train billing are established, renewed, changed and cancelled.
These Subscription Terms explain how access to CAQA Labs, the virtual lab environments service of CAQA Groups and a Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) initiative, is purchased, billed, renewed, changed and cancelled. They apply to the education providers, enterprises and government bodies that subscribe to our virtual labs, cyber ranges, sandboxes and related services, and they should be read together with our Platform Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
CAQA Labs services are sold to organisations under a written proposal, quote or service agreement that records the environments to be provisioned, seat numbers or usage model, term, fees and any special conditions. No payments are taken directly through this website: there is no online checkout, cart or stored card facility on caqalabs.com.au. Fees are paid by invoice on the terms stated in the agreement, and access is provisioned once the agreement is in place.
Two models are offered. Term subscriptions provide an agreed set of environments and seats for a fixed period, billed in advance. Pay-as-you-train provisioning scales lab capacity with your intake - twenty seats this term, two hundred next - and is billed for what actually runs rather than what sits idle, measured and invoiced as set out in your agreement. Hardware, licences and lab rooms are replaced by the one subscription charge; there are no separate capital costs payable to us unless your agreement says otherwise.
Nominated administrators can request additional seats, environments or capacity at any time; increases are billed pro-rata or at the usage rate in your agreement. Reductions take effect from the next billing period unless your agreement provides otherwise, because provisioned capacity is reserved for you in advance.
Term subscriptions renew as stated in your agreement - either automatically for a further term unless notice is given, or by written renewal. We will contact your nominated administrator before renewal where fees or inclusions are changing. Pay-as-you-train arrangements continue until cancelled.
You may cancel by giving written notice to info@caqa.com.au in accordance with the notice period in your agreement. Access continues until the end of the paid period unless you ask us to decommission earlier. Before cancellation takes effect, ask us for any exported artefacts you need, because environments are deleted after decommissioning as described in our Data and Security Notice.
We may suspend or terminate access where invoices remain unpaid after reminder, where the Acceptable Use Policy is seriously or repeatedly breached, or where continued operation would create a security or legal risk. Where practicable we will warn the nominated administrator and allow a reasonable period to remedy the issue first.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service we supply fails to meet a consumer guarantee that applies, you are entitled to the remedies the law provides, which may include re-supply, a fix or a refund depending on whether the problem is major or minor. Beyond those rights, fees already invoiced for periods or usage that have been delivered are generally not refundable for change of mind, and unused portions of a prepaid term are refunded only where your agreement provides for it - for example where we cancel for convenience or materially reduce the service.
Where we agree to a pilot or trial environment, it is provided for evaluation for the stated period, may have reduced capacity or support, and ends automatically unless converted to a subscription.
Fees are fixed for the current term of your agreement. We may change pricing for subsequent terms or for new usage by giving notice before renewal or before the new rates apply.
Descriptions of pricing and billing on this website are general information; your agreement is the authoritative record of what you are buying and what it costs.
